Summary
I’ve done 75 hard twice now. It’s changed my life, and how I look at challenges. Here’s what the program consists of:
- Follow a diet.
- No alcohol or cheat meals.
- Complete two 45-minute workouts, one of which must be outdoors.
- Take a progress picture.
- Drink 1 gallon of water. (hardest)
- Read 10 pages of a book
What it taught me (mentally):
- I have more time than I thought.
- I wasn’t really “trying” on a daily basis.
- I made compromises when working out. (”7 reps is enough”).
- Even when I felt like I didn’t want to do things, I was still able to do them.
- I understood my limits and realized I haven't come close to reaching them.
What I got (physically):
- Best shape of my life.
- More energy.
- More strength.
- More confidence.
If you’re reading this and haven’t done 75hard, do it. It’s a bigger mental challenge than a physical one.
